The MS1 is designed for the serious prospector, miner, or metal detectorist. The scoop is constructed of 4130 Chrome Molybdenum alloy steel for the ideal strength to weight ratio. All components are 100% TIG welded by our highly skilled certified welders for optimal strength, performance, and aesthetics. The handle is coated with Protech PolyArmor thermoplastic powder coating which exhibits superb impact and UV resistance. PolyArmor coatings have a highly tactile feel, thus creating great purchase on the handle in all weather conditions. In addition to the corrosion resistant handle, a replaceable strike cover is placed below the tool to prevent overstrike damage.
The MS1 is designed to drag or scoop material towards the operator. Material can be mucked into buckets, sand bags, hoppers, or chutes. Optimally suited for working on river/stream banks and hillsides where material can easily move downhill.
